Dude is a baller, has improved every year and done great things for that team

Only negative thing I've seen in his stats are his fumbles last year from escaping the pocket

He is not a winner nor a leader.

He is soft! That is it in a nutshell.

He will never win anything...Meaning a championship

I mean he can throw the football .an and hes still developing as a QB and a player in general. I do think they gave him way too much money tho.

Runs a gimmick offense. RB iso, RPO, bubble screen left streaks right, 3 yard hitch left. The most predictable offense in nfl. Not Murray fault there though.

No ability to throw over middle, no consistent deep out accuracy, poor middle field accuracy, can’t work middle of field because he is 5’9. Jitterbug QB with a attitude of a 4 year old.

D hops bails him out constantly. DE’s pinch and interior collapse. Defense knows how to handle him. Lacks leadership and accuracy and can run limited pass tree.

They paid for mobility and extended play making. Legs won’t beat a defense in the NFL. The only speed that a defense can’t contain is the football. You beat defense with anticipation, arm strength and elite accuracy via the football. Murray doesn’t have that!

Great fun and exciting QB to watch. But if paying that $ is to win a SB it will never happen with him. SB is hard enough to win but you better start with the O and D line if that’s the goal.

Not easy to find an elite QB
Leaning towards him not being one but has a little bit of Brees in him
Worth the risk of paying him top money at the endof the day as opposed to other options I think

Well, he's better than anyone we've had here in Carolina for a while I can tell you that.

Hell, Andy Dalton or Carson Weintz in my eyes are ballers compared to Darnold :lmao:

Murray is a pussy. He doesn't like to get hit. Nobody does. But some recognize that taking hits is a part of greatness especially for a QB who needs his legs to come anywhere near to excelling in the NFL. Glad he's not my QB.

He had 12 fumbles but didn't lose a single one.

This is how i feel he isnt a big enough piece and doesnt bring enoughbto the table to take up that much of a salary caps percentage

When was the last year Carolina had a good offensive line? Carolina would have been slightly better with Murray the past 3 years. Hands down a horrible organization for past several years.

Let’s look at how they butchered last year.

Trade for Darnold “beavis and butthead” who would have been cut anyway and had no big takers. Lose draft capital. After paying teddy 2 gloves all that money who did just enough to win 5-6 games and cost ya a top pick.

Sign Reddick on 1 year not 3 year deal and watch him walk

Sign perryman then let him go before season because you like Carter who is a FA next year. Perryman goes to raiders leads league in tackles. Carter walks this year and they go get perryman back up cast off raiders Littleton who is simply not anything great.

Now because of this mishandling of perryman and reddick and carter they were left with filling the void they otherwise wouldn’t have to and could have addressed other areas.

Trade for gillmore who is injured and a soon to be FA who wants to get paid for 6 games of service losing draft capital. Now he is with colts but was never needed.

Failed to ink burns on extensions now riding him for 2nd year and his premium just keeps going up. So with CMC Moore And if Baker balls they will have to eat huge money on the DE and QB next year.

Signed LT Irving who is a known sloth journeyman last year. FT Morton when they could have inked him way earlier for cheaper but he held out and got paid way more.

Henderson was a good trade for basically nothing. But to sign Arnold at te to trade him away 6 weeks later is odd. Either way CJ trade was solid for the price and risk reward.

The team has two of the highest paid WRs in the league. Like 5th and 18th. Then inks TE Thomas to stupid money. A TE who averages like 12 catches and 150 yards a year. And is nowhere near as good as Tremble who they drafted last year. Then you have CMC contract

Imo they did do well in draft value wise this year with nothing to work with. Wouldn’t matter if Murray was a panther or not the team still wouldn’t be that good. Murray is not elite! Few are at QB. Hopefully the few good moves and at least trying to help the offense line this year pays off. If so they will be fine with baker.

That sums it up on why he won't ever win anything.

With no immediate better option…

Can see why Arizona made the decision they did.

Murray is not an above average QB. LOL

He lacks arm strength. Lacks accuracy. He can't make all the throws.
Panics if he can't out run or evade the defense.
He is a one trick pony, teams have figured out how to defend him now.
The gimmick offense hides his deficiency.

I will go back to he is soft mentally and physically.
He gets nicked all the time and misses games.

looks fairly legit to me for a somewhat inexperienced QB

This season will answer alot of questions about his ability
